The Orb and Sceptre Detail from a figure made for part of the 'Honours of the Kingdom' exhibition at Edinburgh Castle. The Orb and Sceptre along with other parts of the ceremonial regalia were recreated as part of the display along with the figures. As the 'real' items were to be seen in the same exhibition, the replicas had to be both convincing, and made at a level of realism, which did not compete with the sculptural qualities of the groups. see also: The workshop
