Gulliver Tied Down We undertook the entire setting for this exhibit Gulliver was part modelled and cast in the studio, to give the high detail areas head hands etc, whilst the main body was carved and fibreglassed on site in Armagh. There were in fact two Gullivers made for this exhibition at about 8 metres high, (the second was produced as a projected image talking head) as well as over 100 Lilliputians dogs horses carts, all individually dressed and given weapons. The Lilliputians were about 650 mm high so they were large enough to need good detail. All of this was produced in a three month period so a lot of midnight oil was burned. see also Costume Figures: Gulliver with telescope
