The First Step
All that we need from you is a set of three or four good photographs to show profile, full face and 3/4 front view from both sides and we will model a clay original. When we have modelled the portrait, you can either visit the studio to approve the modelling prior to it being cast, or if this is not convenient, we will send photographs of the work to for your approval. A silicon rubber mould would then be produced so that your commission can be produced in whatever finish you require. An advantage of having a mould made in this way is that subsequent casts can be produced at very little extra cost, so both sets of grandparents can have a copy of the children as well as you! Remember, like the example on the left, portraits can also be produced from paintings and photographs of family ancestors. Bronze filled resin busts can be produced from £1500 (plus VAT if in the UK) We can supply costs for packaging and transport worldwide.
The next step is to contact us with your requirements. We will:
Final payment will become due at the approval stage (clay figure). The rest is down to us. |
